“SCENT,” a hair salon and gallery in Gaienmae, opened in December 2021.
It’s a space where you can experience comfort through all five senses—not just by having your hair styled, but also by engaging with scents, sounds, and art.
For haircuts, we use techniques such as “dry cutting”—which assesses texture and movement on dry hair—and “sculpting,” which shapes the hair to complement your facial structure and hair texture, to bring out each client’s unique personality. We also prioritize manageability and ease of styling, proposing looks that seamlessly blend into your daily life.
For coloring, we use OWAY hair color products made with organic ingredients that are gentle on your hair, feature a pleasant scent, and are environmentally conscious. From natural shades to design colors that transform your look, we carefully tailor the finish to your preferences and the condition of your hair. We also carry Japanese organic hair color products.
Between treatments, you can try products from “Diffar,” a fragrance brand produced by SCENT. Please come to the salon to experience scents that reflect memories of foreign landscapes, plants, sounds, and cultures, along with a light, refreshing texture that harnesses the power of nature. You can also purchase your favorite items and new releases.
We have a small gallery attached to the salon where we host art and photography exhibitions, fashion pop-ups, and installations. We strive to be an open space where every visit brings new inspiration and encounters.
